IP-MPLS Core

MPLS (Multiprotocol labeled switching) is actually developed by IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) for the purpose of adding connection-oriented methodology to full-mesh topology. The term Label-switched Path (LSP) is used to define the connection-oriented paths within the disconnected networks. MPLS appears as a premium solution to meet the broadband, service management and other additional requirements in next generation IP-based spinal networks. MPLS deals with the problems related to scaling and packet routing, and puts them on the existing IP-router devices of the customers.

MPLS is a technology which combines the most demanded features of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks. MPLS combines the efficiency and speed of Layer 3 network and security and reliability of Layer 2 network. With the addition of the capabilities of Traffic Engineering (TE) and Fast Re-route (FRR) protection methods, MPLS has become a defacto Standard in the core networks of both fixed and mobile operators. Although MPLS has previously been a service optionally installed by the service providers, it is now a technology that the operators have to install to be able to meet the services which is required by customers.

MPLS offers unique, flexible, highly scalable and reliable network environments, which are the most important criteria for service providers.

During the design stage, we prepare the documentation related to Low Level Design (LLD), Network Application Plan and Network Transition Plan. In addition, we conduct the field surveys and perform the operation tests for a wide variety of manufacturers together.

We also undertake the responsibility of the steps including preparations, site arrangements, final configurations and acceptance tests at the application stage.

Any interruption of service during the transition process causes subscriber dissatisfaction. At this point, to complete the transition phase in the fastest moving way, we study on the transition planning in a quite elaborative way. While depending on the complexity of the transition, we usually perform the transition with 0 second interruption time.

We provide technical management and supervision services for the operators with MPLS networks. If the service providers would like to improve or expand their networks, we also provide consulting services in planning the tests among different manufacturers. Furthermore, we also provide solutions consisting of network monitoring, management and authorization tools to facilitate the works of service providers.
